1) Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how SkipShip™, LLC, a California limited liability company (“SkipShip,” “we,” “us,” or “our”),
collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website or interact with our pre-launch experiences
(including our waitlist).
2) Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide: such as your name, email address, and the role you select (e.g., customer, merchant, brand, investor/partner) when you join the waitlist.
- Device and usage information: such as browser type, device type, approximate location (derived from IP), pages viewed, and basic interactions with the site.
- Communications: if you contact us by email, we may keep a record of the communication.
SkipShip does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information on the public website.
If you choose to share sensitive information with us, you do so at your discretion.
3) How we use information
We may use information to:
- operate the website and administer the waitlist
- communicate with you (e.g., launch updates, pilot outreach, onboarding messages)
- improve performance, security, and user experience
- conduct internal analytics and planning
- develop and test features as SkipShip evolves
4) Waitlist form and service providers
Our waitlist form may be processed by third-party service providers (for example, a form processing provider).
When you submit information through the waitlist form, that information is transmitted to and processed by the provider
in order to deliver your submission to SkipShip.
Your current website uses a hosted form endpoint (Formspree). That means your waitlist submission is processed by Formspree
and then forwarded to SkipShip so we can respond.
5) Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies or similar technologies to operate the site and understand usage. These tools may collect basic device
and usage information (such as pages visited and approximate location derived from IP).
6) Sharing of information
SkipShip does not sell personal information to third parties at launch. We may share information in limited circumstances:
- Service providers: vendors that help run the site, process forms, send emails, or provide analytics.
- Legal and safety: if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business changes: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (information may be transferred as part of that transaction).
7) Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to operate the waitlist,
maintain records, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
8) Your choices
- Email opt-out: you may unsubscribe from non-essential communications by following the instructions in our emails.
- Access / deletion requests: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information as applicable by contacting us.
9) California privacy rights
California residents may have rights regarding their personal information, including the right to request access, deletion, or correction,
subject to applicable law and verification requirements.

and stored in the United States.
